I have a 96 savage and today I washed and waxed it for a good long ride tomorrow and when I was done I was just pushing it back into the garage when I noticed a noise coming from the belt side of the bike. So I just figured that it was water or something on the belt, but I went ahead and drove it around for a little while ( just to try and dry), but when I got it home it was still making the same noise. I don't know if the noise is actually coming from the belt housing or from the the area right in front of it. The noise is only noticable when the bike is barely moving (I have a very load exhaust so I may not be hearing it win the bike is revved up).
